Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Matcher. By creating an account or using Matcher, you agree to these Terms.

1. What MATCHER Is — and Is Not

MATCHER is a comparison and matching platform. MATCHER is not a freight forwarder, carrier, customs broker, warehouse, or cargo provider. Shipping prices, transit times, availability, customs charges, delivery charges, taxes, and other provider information may change. Customers should confirm final terms directly with the selected cargo provider before arranging shipment.

MATCHER compares your U.S. online shopping cart with cargo providers that ship to Nigeria so you can choose a provider. MATCHER does not take possession of your goods, does not book or pay for shipment, and does not guarantee that any provider will accept or ship your items. You complete the actual shipment directly with the cargo provider you select, under that provider's own terms, quote, and policies.

2. Membership & Cart Credits

• Matcher Membership is $6.99 USD per month and includes 3 complete cart credits per billing period.
• Unused cart credits roll over for as long as your membership remains active.
• You may purchase an additional 3 cart credits for $6.99 USD at any time while subscribed, more than once.
• One cart credit is consumed when Matcher completes a cart comparison for your confirmed cart.

3. Billing & Renewal

Your membership renews automatically each month until you cancel or pause it. Payments are processed by Stripe. Matcher does not receive or store your full card information.

4. Estimates Are Indicative

Matcher estimates are indicative comparisons based on provider data available to Matcher. Provider pricing, availability, transit times, surcharges, and acceptance may change at any time. The final cost and terms of shipment are determined by the provider you select. Matcher does not guarantee any provider's price or availability.

5. Pause, Cancel & Credits

• You may pause your membership for up to two one-month pauses in any rolling 12-month period. Your unused credits are preserved during a pause.
• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewal. Unused credits are forfeited on cancellation; your saved matches and reports remain available.

6. Refunds

MATCHER provides access to cart-comparison services through a paid membership and additional cart-credit purchases. Because cart credits provide access to digital services, completed or used cart analyses are generally non-refundable. If you are charged in error, charged more than once for the same purchase, or do not receive cart credits after a verified successful payment, contact MATCHER at hello@matcherng.com so we can review the transaction. Any refund approved by MATCHER will be returned through the original payment method. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable law.

7. Screenshot & AI Processing

To build your cart, Matcher may process cart screenshots and product information you submit using automated extraction, including third-party AI providers. Ordinary cart screenshots are deleted after successful extraction/confirmation unless a legal, security, or Advocacy retention reason applies.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Matcher, attempt to bypass cart-credit or free-demo limits, submit fraudulent carts, or abuse the service. Abuse may result in suspension.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability

Matcher is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, Matcher disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Matcher's liability for claims related to your use of the service is limited to the amounts you have paid Matcher.

10. Intellectual Property

The Matcher name, the M + airplane mark, website copy, software, comparison logic, report templates, and onboarding content are original Matcher property. Provider names, logos, rates, and website content belong to their respective owners and are used for comparison only; Matcher does not claim ownership of provider trademarks or rate data. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute Matcher's original content without permission.

11. Changes to These Terms

Matcher may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
